Maintaining the suppleness, elasticity, and balance of horses' hooves needs top-quality products, together with other things.

The well known Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing reflects this philosophy.

Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing has been made using the traditional methods for more than 32 years.

It is a 100% natural product made from animal fat and fresh laurel leaves that are macerated to release their active substances that are being used in the hoof dressing.

The hoof dressing does not only give the hoof a pretty shine. Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing penetrates and nourishes the hoof deep down.

Using it regularly keeps the hoof wall from drying out, protects it, and activates the  growth of the horn.

All this makes Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing a very good product that is used and recommended by a lot of riding professionals.

Like all natural greases, Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing becomes hard in winter because it contains no solvents or crude oil derivatives.*

So there is also a winter formula that is 25% richer in oil to keep the Hoof Dressing soft and creamy even in colder weather.

*Used in some other brands:

- solvents give the grease a constant consistency but dry out the hoof wall.

- crude oil derivatives, such as paraffin and tar, clog the horn's pores, keep the hoof from breathing, and seal anaerobic bacteria in the foot, where they can proliferate and lead to thrush.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Normal use :

Apply the grease with a brush directly onto the outside, sole, and frog of each foot.

For sound hooves:  2 applications a week.
Before a competition:  1 application (for beauty).
In dry weather:  4-5 applications a week.

More intensive use for very dry hooves :

Hose down the feet a few minutes, and then dry them off.

Next apply Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing.

Repeat this operation daily for one week.
