The inner lining of KEP Italia helmets corresponds to the individual size of the head of the rider.

There are 12 linings/sizes, of which the first eight (from 51 to 58) fit helmets size M (medium), whilst the remaining four (from 59 to 62) fit helmets size L (large).

The inner lining is a very important part of the helmet. Of course, the correct fit on the head of the rider depends on the right thickness of the inner lining.

KEP Italia's inner lining is in one piece. It can easily be removed and repositioned inside the helmet.

It can be washed by hand in cold water or in the machine at 30°C.

The lining is made from Coolmax®, a fabric that uses an innovative fibre. This fibre keeps temperatures cool and facilitates skin hydration, while rapidly removing moisture. In that way it is very quick-drying.

Since the lining corresponds to the size of the rider's head it means that riders who alternate between wearing their hair loose or tied up can use two interchangeable linings of different sizes with the same helmet.

This is also very important for children while their head size changes during the growing period. Parents can buy the next size up form the lining and replace the lining that has become too tight, without having to look for a new helmet.

And, in consideration of the fact that the correct fit of the helmet is fundamental to proper protection of the rider's head, KEP Italia has developed a series of linings specifically designed for oval-shaped, round or narrow heads.

This NAME PLATE from KEP ITALIA is a little detail that makes every KEP Italia helmet unique.

It is available in silver or gold versions.

It can be ordered even after the purchase of a helmet. It will than be delivered with simple application instructions.

Correct positioning of the tag is ensured using the template included with the name plate, which, when placed over the helmet, indicates precisely where the plate goes on the shell.

The name plate can include a maximum of 16 characters.

Ventilation holes allow your helmet to breathe while satin quilted padding ensures against scuffing or other unsightly marks.

Removable panels fit into zippered pockets, protecting your helmet during transport or storage, while additional outer pockets are perfect for storing essentials such as hairnets and stock pins.
