For young horses and horses with a sensitive mouth, the bits in the Inno Sense line are particularly suitable. The bits Inno Sense bits are made of a FDA-approved elastic synthetic material.
Inno Sense Flexi soft bits incorporate a flexible mouthpiece. This is the only really flexible mouthpiece.
The Inno Sense Mullen is a straight bar that bends forward lightly. The soft or hard has nothing to do with flexiblity, it only is the hardness of the mouthpiece for the horse.
The Inno Sense Medium port is slightly harder than the flexi soft. This bit is suitable for horses with a thick or sensitive tongue.
And finally, there is the Inno Sense hard port bit. This bit is slightly harder than the medium port.
A Hackamore works by pressure on the nose through a leverage. The pressure on the nose depends on the length of the sides. A hackamore is basically a tool for riding bitless, but can also be used in combination with a snaffle. A hackamore can be quite sharp because of the leverage and the pressure on the nose and chin. If a curb chain is used, the Hackamore is even sharper.
It is very important that the noseband of the hackamore is placed correctly. The hackamore is not suitable for inexperienced riders or horses.
